About Us

THE HORIZON - a preparatory school for tiny tots started in July 1996. It is run by Mrs. Himanshu Bala Parik, M.A., B.Ed., who has wide experience of child education and teaching.

The Horizon aims at providing early childhood care. and education to children (ECCE) for their holistic development. In order to achieve this goal, we make every effort to:

• Adopt child centred programme by following the play-way & activity approach.
• Provide stimulating play environment for intellectual, sensorial, linguistic, conceptual, social, emotional and physical development of the child.
• Encourage interaction with environment, active participation in group activities and develop creativity.
• Promote inner discipline & self-control.
• Lay the foundation for reading, writing and number work.
• Prepare the children for formal and primary education.
• Make advance plan & schedule but simultaneously keep flexibility as per children's needs.
• Encourage Parent-Teacher interaction for mutual benefit.
